Hypno-coaching for personal & professional success
Hypno -coaching combines hypnosis methods for the further development of personal and professional potential with conventional coaching approaches.
Examples of hypno-coaching:
- Better understand management colleagues and business partners, avoid stress.
- Reduce stage fright and deliver decisive speeches in front of large audiences
- Unleash undiscovered resources, even in phases of reorientation
In hypno-coaching, I combine my decades of experience in training and coaching managers in medium-sized companies and corporations with methods from the field of hypnotherapy.
By combining methods from both worlds, comparatively faster results can often be observed.
Does that sound exciting to you?

Hypno-coaching: What’s behind it?
What is behind the idea of combining methods from hypnotherapy with approaches from coaching and leadership training?
How do you learn using traditional leadership training methods?
Every experienced manager has usually completed several leadership training courses and individual coaching sessions over the course of their professional career. Depending on the structure of the training, these courses impart theoretical knowledge on the one hand, while practical exercises allow for the transfer of know-how into practice on the other.
Good practical exercises are designed so that trainees unconsciously experience emotional situations and act equally unconsciously or subconsciously. This leads to a very intensive learning process.
The faster and more directly new actions can be anchored in the subconscious, the more successful the learning curve.
How did we learn as children?
We know the following from childhood:
- To learn the basics required a lot of repetition with the mind until what was learned was anchored in the subconscious.
- Learning that a switched-on stove is hot worked within seconds and was immediately burned into the subconscious.
In the second case, where the intellect plays a subordinate role, a clear advantage in learning speed can be seen. The behavior to be learned reaches the subconscious directly.
How do you learn through hypnosis?
When learning through hypnosis, the aim is also to achieve a direct, rapid transfer of knowledge into the subconscious.
Figuratively speaking, the relaxed setting of a hypnosis session, the trance state, allows for more direct communication with the subconscious.
In this way, the hypnosis coach can work with his client to identify unhelpful emotional thought patterns and associations and offer the subconscious desired, positive alternative models and images.
Hypno-Coaching: The combination of methods from both worlds
At this point, it should be noted that the following illustrative explanation is intended to provide a clear picture of the method for laypeople. For a scientific description and derivation of the hypno-coaching method, please refer to the relevant literature.
In hypno-coaching, two essential phases can be described:
Phase I: In the analysis and goal-finding phase, hypno-coaching initially uses the mind, e.g., with the following questions:
- What personal goals do I want to achieve?
- Which well-known showstoppers would I like to eliminate?
- How should my life or professional life feel in the future? How do I want to experience myself?
This Phase I is essential for achieving personal goals. It requires the client’s intensive cooperation.
A saying goes:
- “Be precise in your order to the universe. It will deliver exactly what you order.”
Phase II: During the hypnosis session, the hypno-coach together with his client
- tries to find out about known and unknown showstoppers,
- offers the subconscious future options for action,
- and lets the client experience his new or improved skills emotionally in visual form.
A hypno-coaching program includes several individual hypnosis sessions.
That’s just an attempt at a brief outline. Feel free to call me for further explanations.
Process of a hypno-coaching program
Getting to know each other and preliminary discussionOur hypno-coaching program always begins with a detailed preliminary consultation. Together, we explore your individual characteristics and experiences that led to your current situation and how you experience them in your daily life. Considerations may include:
- What kind of situations and your reactions to them bother you?
- What would you like to change about this? How would you like to handle these situations in the future?
- When did you first notice that similar situations triggered similar patterns in you?
This is more or less how we might approach your existing images and associations. Based on our shared journey of discovery and your wishes for the future, we will then put together your individual hypno-coaching program.
Hypnosis session during hypno-coaching
A hypnosis session during hypno-coaching is structured similarly to clinical hypnosis:
- At the beginning of a session, the hypno-coach will gradually guide you into a trance. This is a very relaxed, pleasant state.
- In the trance state, he is able to gradually establish a connection to your subconscious.
- During hypnosis, unwanted associations, or showstoppers, are addressed, and attempts are made to eliminate them. This is done repeatedly and in different ways.
- Likewise, positive associations, images, and behavioral patterns desired by the client in the future are presented to the subconscious. This allows the future to be experienced in a dreamlike manner during the session.
- At the end of the session, the hypnosis is dissolved and you feel awake, calm, and active again.
The stronger your own will is to achieve change, the easier hypno-coaching will be.
